Job Specifications A Department Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services, oversees and is accountable for the operation of a department ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory expense control, human resource management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.
Job Requirements We require 3 years of previous retail management experience with gourmet food, wine or grocery strongly preferred.
Essential functions of this position include:
- ability to provide excellent customer experience by maintaining high standards and solid product knowledge
- develop and execute plans to maximize sales and meet/exceed goals and objectives
- ensure appropriate stock levels and presentations, signing and assortment
- continually evaluate and coach performance while recruiting hourly team members
- ensure compliance w/ all policies and procedures
