Description: Looking for an Electrical Application Engineer who has a BSEE and 2+ years experience. Will look at a fresh grad who has prior automotive co-op or internship experience. Person will be working within their customer facility.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Support program management team.
? Electrical Engineering / Software interface with customer.
? Responsible for proper and timely program execution of automotive multimedia programs.
? Successful execution of electrical and software requirements.
? Obtain, and have intimate knowledge of, targeted OEM's specifications and requirements.
? Comprehend and relay technical and program information to / from local / overseas staff.
? Technical advise for design center related to electrical requirements and system bus requirements, as necessary for proper execution of program requirements.
? Attend / support periodic cross-functional team meetings including, but not limited to, functions such as Engineering, Sales, Sales Administration, Quality, Purchasing.
? Support internal and customer technical reviews.
? Interface with suppliers / technology partners related to proposed and secured business.
? Support of validation testing of products at all levels, vehicle, subsystem, component and sub-component.
? Compliance and support of QS-9000 / ISO processes including, but not limited to, PPAP
? Understand Clarion's products, processes and capabilities.
? Frequent local travel to customer / Clarion sites. Daily and weekly meetings are typical.
? Occasional interstate and international travel.
? Create weekly / monthly activity summary reports to management.
? Support of corporate BSC initiatives.
? Additional engineering responsibilities as determined by management.

PERIODIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Support Advanced Engineering / Planning / Benchmarking activities as necessary for new business opportunities, RFQ process.
? Other periodic duties as assigned by senior / executive management.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Software Engineering and 3 years of OEM multimedia experience for Ford Motor Company.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Must be well-rounded, motivated Electrical / System Engineer; able to make technical presentations, support cross-functional teams, possess strong interpersonal and customer support skills as well as strong engineering capabilities for Electrical and bus systems.
