Description: Belcan AETD is currently looking for CATIA V5 Design Engineers to develop Nacelles and Aerostructures for various customer programs at our Middle River-Baltimore office.

MULTIPLE OPENINGS

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of B.S. degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering and 10 years applicable engineering experience in the areas of Nacelles (preferred), Aerostructures or Airframe structural design development.
Thrust reverser actuation system experience.
Candidates must have current working knowledge of CATIA V5 design, assemblies; drafting desired. Must be able to work independently and have strong skills to communicate significant issues in a dynamic environment.

Other:
? Engineering Design, Development, Modeling experience in aerospace, airframe, aerostructures and nacelles
? Use of CATIA V5 solids and surface modeling, etc., to develop concepts and manufacturable solutions
? Layouts, multidisciplinary work environment, interface with stress analysis and others
? Familiarity with FAR 25 and FAR 33 requirements, tests and qualification a plus
? Design Standards, FD&T, Digital Mockup; design and analysis tools
? Trade Studies, Presentation and Design Reviews
? Experience with Composites and Metallics
