Description: Belcan TechServices is currently recruiting for Middle River, MD client who has an immediate need for Composites Manufacturing Engineers.

Responsibilities...

* Provide production liaison support for manufacturing assembly and back-shop operations for All Boeing programs.
* Proficient with production problem solving, Planning improvements, standardization of plans.
* Provide hands-on support for new assembly plans, tooling, methods and cost reduction.

The level of effort will be defined by production needs.
The individual assigned to this project will possess minimum qualifications as listed below:
* Strong machining background with 2D and 3D parts
* Manufacturing engineer with minimum 10 years experience in the fabrication of detailed parts and sub-assemblies, within an aerospace environment.
* Experience in non-recurring and recurring production engineering activities (planning, tool design concepts, and liaison support).
* Working knowledge of: Hardware, hand tools, and fastener installation techniques required to perform fabrication and assembly of sheet metal and composite parts
* Development of process planning requirements.
* Ability to define tooling that will meet engineering requirements at the component and assembly levels.
* Skill base that includes working with Catia V5 (500 hrs minimum).
* Working knowledge of MS Office and Oracle Planning.

* A self-starter able to work with minimal guidance.
