We are currently looking for an experienced Checker with a minimum of 10 Years of Experience for our West Palm Beach, FL Office.

Profile:
A Product Definition technical specialist who reviews engineering drawings, sketches, and documentation for compliance with design intent. This includes applicable engineering specifications, manufacturing requirements/capability and configuration management standards. Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 (Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a requirement. Requires the ability to analyze, define and resolve problems with the product definition and engineering teams.

Principle Responsibilities:
1. Generally performs work, which involves the interpretation of design intent, engineering drawing standards, utilization of engineering specifications, manufacturability and processing engineering changes.
2. Review engineer?s, manufacturing, vendor?s and subcontractor?s associated documents.
3. Review parts list or bill of materials.
4. Checking engineering drawings for technical accuracy.
5. Review, approve and release engineering documents.
6. Works with project managers to provide direction and prioritization of jobs for the product definition team.
7. May participate in one or more of the following:
a. Provide training/mentoring to others.
b. Preparation of bid proposals or cost estimates.
