Description: The Designer II position will be part of the Belcan?s Design Engineering Team in Mt Vernon, OH.
Starting with baseline model assembly structure, work with engineers and designers and to revise the product assemblies, systems, and build packages to meet product specific specifications.
Involves revising equipment and instruments based on engineering BOMs, locating and positioning equipment and Instruments, creating pipe spools and support for proper fit up, routing tubing, cabling, and wiring through complex assemblies.

? Utilize Unigraphics NX6 revision (or higher) software and Teamcenter
? Will include creation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Prepare models based on the P&IDs, produce drawings based on the models with appropriate views, item callouts, and dimensioning as necessary.
? Use current modeling and drafting processes and procedures to produce models and drawings that are compliant with product specific requirements.
? Ensure models meet company specific architecture structure requirements and issue for Teamcenter release.
? Embrace a team environment and ensure efficient communication between the design team and the engineering team.

Requirements: Basic:
? 2+ years experience with Unigraphics and Teamcenter
? Good understanding and application of appropriate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
? Experience with Unigraphics NX solid modeling, drawings, and diagrams
? Experience with: Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel
? Creativity and attention to detail
? Solution and customer satisfaction oriented
? Self motivated with the ability to work independently toward team oriented goals

Preferred:
? Experience with 2D/3D CAD modeling and detailing complex geometry for use in design layouts.
? Experience with drafting of gas generators, power turbines, unit control panels, electrical diagrams, compressors and package support systems
? Experience with Eplan drafting software
? A Technical Associate's degree (Design / Drafting) or an Engineering degree
