� Diesel Diagnostic Mechanic
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities
� Complete Work Orders and other maintenance documentation
� Repair, fabricate, rebuild, troubleshoot and preventative maintenance on equipment
� Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, welding, plumbing, machine shop, blue prints, schematics, parts lists and equipment.
� Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work area instructions, participates in safety and environmental activities, uses plant and equipment correctly at all times.
� Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned according to business need.

Requirements: Qualifications
� Two (2) years experience in the crafts of welder, boilermaker, machinist or facility maintenance/construction
� Proficiency in welding/cutting
� Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, welding, plumbing, machine shop, blue prints, schematics, fabrication, parts lists and repair.
� Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair.
� Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
� Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
� Must have minimum personal tools as described by the department tool list or be able to obtain them within 90 days of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications
� Four (4) years of experience diagnosing and repairing diesel equipment
� Previous experience working on Caterpillar equipment
� Previous experience utilizing a computerized diesel diagnostic system
� Previous experience troubleshooting engine low power on heavy equipment
� Previous experience troubleshooting slow hoist/hydraulics on heavy equipment
� Previous experience troubleshooting engine over heat on heavy equipment
