Belcan is looking for an Electrical Engineer
Under general supervision, provides technical advice and guidance for all phases of assigned engineering projects and programs, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost.
Reviews, investigates and develops appropriate recommendations regarding assigned engineering project
Serves as Project Manager or technical advisor, on small-to-medium site construction, expansion or modification projects
Evaluates and administers contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment
Collaborates in site strategic planning and budgeting efforts for designated engineering areas
Assists in the development and evaluation of Appropriation Request (AR) for capital funding
Performs other duties as required

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and three (3) years related experience in engineering-Additional experience should include exposure to business systems and financial analysis, leadership/management training, ISO systems training and MSHA safety training.
Mine Process Engineering - leaching, materials, SXEW, and concentrator operations.
Mine Engineering - mine planning, ore control, surveying, drilling and blasting, slope stability, plant operations, and underground and/or open pit mining, OR
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and two (2) years related experience in engineering

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in mining or continuous processing plant equipment.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, and contribute in electrical and instrumentation field
Experience and skills in supporting large projects in electrical and instrumentation field.
Technical knowledge and experience in reviewing electrical drawings, process control and power distribution.
Experience and/or knowledge in electrical maintenance, reliability and instrumentation
Experience with NFPA-70E code and IEEE Standards
Advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification preferred
