Description: Belcan Engineering is currently looking for an Engineering Manager located in Greensboro, N.C. This position will oversee numerous management duties, including, but not limited to the following:

? Oversee group operations to insure production efficiency, optimum quality, service, safety, and cost-effective management of resources.
? Successfully manage change and provide leadership and direction to personnel.
? Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
? Promote the company through written articles, attending industry conferences and client sales contacts.
? Represent the company at industry regulatory sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions.
? Promote the company to local, regional, and national constituencies.
? Present company report to the General Manager.
? Provide training and advice, and conduct and support internal training courses.
? Help ensure a positive work experience for all employees.
? Conduct performance reviews, communicates with staff, conducts staff meetings, helps coordinate business and personal priorities, advocates promotions where appropriate, and encourages a team philosophy that invites active, broad participation.
? Represent the company at industry regulatory sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions.

Requirements: Highly Desired:
? Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
? Experience with commercial on-highway vehicle products, systems, processes, tools and personnel.
? Experiences in VTNA cab and/or chassis design, development and testing.
? Demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills.
? Ability to package and manage engineering outsourced work.
? Ability to create and manage client relationships as well as establish and negotiate terms with customers.
? Experience creating and implementing strategic plans for company growth and stability.
? Experience overseeing project schedules, and project financials, and project deliverables.
? Ability to identify and solve problems, manage multiple priorities and multi-task.
? Ability to effectively work with and/or manage personnel.
? Able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
