Perform complex finite element analysis on static/rotating jet engine hardware applicable to compressor, turbine, external components, combustor, augmentor and nozzles; Analysis includes stress, vibration, impact, fracture mechanics, fatigue and optimization.

Provide technical advice on design changes based on analytical results.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, specifications and test plans to external customers.
Support design reviews and present technical data for design reviews

Requirements:
? B.S. Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering Required
? M.S. Engineering a plus
? Minimum 5 years experience in the gas turbine industry
? Proficient in performing finite element analysis using ANSYS or NASTRAN
? Experience with ANSYS Workbench a plus
? Knowledge of current state-of-the-art FEA software and
understanding of the basic principles of structural mechanics; Ability
to communicate and perform presentations and direct junior engineers
? Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
? Maintain schedules and budgets
? Proficient with MS Office
