Description:
Job Title: Flow Back Engineer

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• P&ID layouts of Frac Flow Back Jobs
• Lead and participate in HAZOP and HAZID’s
• Establish Functional Engineering Specifications for Frac Flow Back Equipment
• Establish Vendor Qualifications and Audits to Functional Engineering Specifications
• Identify Manufacturing Data book requirements
• Regulatory reporting requirements
• Establish Preventative Maintenance procedures and guidelines
• Support for Field Operations

Purchasing of new assets – define data book requirements
Processes / SOP for operations of assets
Document Spec’s for new assets – Piping (high and low psi), flares, sand traps, plug catcher, etc
Standardize on flowback packages I.e. 36” x 10’ 1440, 42”x15’ enclosed 250, etc
Oversee new equipment builds for flowback /zipper manifolds
P&ID / pad drawings
Maintenance programs, maintenance book requirements.
Assist in training and training development.
Assist in technical sales to the client.
Assist in the technical data input for tenders.
Various Other duties as required
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's degree with five years’ experience in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English and Spanish. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Qualifications - Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Knowledge of oilfield applications for both pump and flow control products, knowledge of product technician specifications. For Mexico location, must be bilingual in English and Spanish; must possess or be able to obtain a passport.

Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database and inventory software, manufacturing and order processing systems, and spreadsheet and word processing software.
