Description: We are currently recruiting for a Hydraulic-Pneumatic Systems Application Engineer for a Dayton area client. The ideal candidates will possess a BS in Mechanical Engineering degree and five to seven years of experience in designing and building hydraulic and pneumatic control systems to meet customer specifications. The primary responsibilities are to solve customer's motion control issues by reviewing and validating requirements and providing a technical proposal. Applicants should have experience with commercial off the shelf components and solid mechanical and electrical engineering principles. This includes development and detailing hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, project management from component acquisition through build. You should have an understanding of basic manufacturing processes, solid analytical problem solving skills, fundamental MS Office skills, and 2D or 3D SolidWorks CAD skills. Fluid power certification is a plus. This is a full time position working on first shift position with primary hours of 8am to 5pm. The target salary range $65,000 to $75,000.
Requirements: ? Strong working knowledge of motion control products (hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical)
? Create circuit diagrams, mechanical layout, assembly & fabrication drawings
? Prepare customer quotations & manage orders from quote through build stages
? Structure bills of materials

Minimum Experience (yrs): 5-7
