Description: Overview:
Perform/function as a technical support liason for the shop management team, field service and field sales personnel as relates to performance of customer repair projects, shop modernization projects, general engineering and drafting.
Responsibilities:
Performs engineering and drafting functions in cooperation with shop management
Assures that repair methodology is sound and appropriate by performing specific engineering functions such as stress analysis
Development of CAD drawings for use in manufacturing and repair projects
Review of technical information and data equipment modifications and design development and review
Process and procedure development and approval
CNC program development and application General shop interface / problem solving interactions with shop supervision and various departments as required
Assists customer service department in the development of customer proposals and work instructions for shop operations

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in engineering (BSME)
Working knowledge (3 to 5 years) of turbomachinery rotating equipment related equipment and systems
Knowledge of company policies markets orginization and procedures
Analytical ability to develop ideas identify problems and provide corrective actions
Ability to commnicate to all levels of management
Experience and skills in personal computer operation
Ability to communicate to customers and suppliers
Ability to initiate action to prevent occurrence of nonconformity related to product process and quality system
Ability to initiate recommend or provide solutions to problems related to product process or our quality system
Safety awareness culture/training
