Summary

On behalf of our client, Belcan has been given opportunity to source new talent to add to their corporate team. Our client is one of leading designers and manufacturers of hydrostatic drive systems, providing quality of service to commercial and consumer markets. We are seeking an experiencedLean Program Leader.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Work with a Steering Team to prioritize efforts; Organize and lead events to make breakthrough process improvements and eliminate wastes; Support continuous improvement teams to systematically improve performance; and Quantify improvements.

* This is a highly technical position requiring frequent interaction with employees at all levels and locations within the company, suppliers, and potentially customers.

* This is intended to be a high impact and highly visible position.

* Gather and analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities.

* Facilitate new ways of thinking into established processes.

* Work directly with process owners and contributors to establish and execute improvement plans.

* Coach and teach teams/individuals to think lean in their roles.

* Advocate for lean improvements throughout the company.

* Facilitate the waste reduction and productivity improvement program.
Requirements:
Position Requirements:

* BA/BS degree from accredited College or University or a minimum of 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.

* Proven change agent - Demonstrated ability to break down tasks, manage, and implement large initiatives.

* Technical mastery of lean tools and methodologies.

* Ability to interact with all levels of the business, exceptionally good listening skills, and able to present complex or new ideas with clarity and simplicity.

* Strong analytical (including statistical) and problem solving skills.

* Creative and innovative thinking to challenge current practices across the organization.

* Knowledge of manufacturing and business processes.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

* Sense of urgency and an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
