We are currently looking for a Performance Engineer to provide systems analysis for commercial and military engine applications from the conceptual design phase through development certification, and introduction into service. This opportunity is in our Palm Beach Gardens, Florida facility.

Job Description:
Responsibilities cover a broad range of technical duties including:
- Development of steady state models of propulsion systems
- Analyzing engine test data to reconcile results with expectations
- Providing program direction on optimization of the system via modification of the individual components in order to meet customer requirements.
Interaction is required with customer performance team to determine that the Systems Requirements that meet the performance levels are achieved. Duties include:
- Development of comprehensive performance simulations
- Formulation of steady state schedules for the Engine Control to provide the required performance and stability,
- Off-line detailed test data analysis
- Analytical trade studies to evaluate and assess configuration changes.
Challenges include gaining a good understanding of technical principles and analytical methods used for the development of propulsion systems and components, effectively coordinating engine scheduling requirements and clearly summarizing test results.
Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to provide technical observations, innovative ideas, and program developments to customers and management.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Aeronautical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years experience.
- Experience with C++ and MS Office programs.
- Working knowledge of aero-thermal systems, control and systems analysis, simulation software (NPSS) are highly desirable.
