Description: Looking for a Process/Sample Engineer who has a BSMET or Associates degree with Plastics/Manufacturing Engineering experience. Will provide day-to-day support to the manufacturing operations within the plant with emphasis on automation, robotic de-molding, process control maintenance and product quality functions. Troubleshoot processes & equipment, maintain production of quality product, perform problem-solving to develop corrective actions for continuous improvement. Ideal person will have 3-5 years experience in plastics Process Injection Molding of high performance materials (i.e.. PEEK, PFA, FEP, Ultem). Familiar in the use of calipers, micrometers, height & bore gauges, optical comparators and vision systems a plus. Functional understanding of blueprint reading, tolerance practices and statistical quality concepts. Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming (Allen Bradley) desired.
