Description: Looking for a Product Engineer who has at least a BS degree in Engineering and 1-3+ years of experience. Under direction, works from requirements or instructions to design and develop new components or redesign existing components to improve company products. Determines and establishes design & cost specifications through engineering calculations and layouts. Oversees assembly and tests of custom engineering applications or engineering prototypes. Communicates with vendors and customers to obtain information and assistance. Provide application support to the Marketing/Sales department, representatives, and customers. Assist applications with design specifications, product constraints, job costing and warranty issues. Participate in cost reduction goals associated with company products utilizing the tools of value analysis and the elimination of non-value added components. Person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to solve complex problems, and the ability to comprehend & apply principles of advanced mathematics & related engineering disciplines.
