Description: Provide engineering, manufacturing, and project management support. Position will require candidate to perform in all aspects of the business including design engineering, modeling, creation of fabrication & installation drawings, reverse engineering, component selection, purchasing, vendor management, and project management. Candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for engineering. Position will offer unique and complex engineering challenges that require persistence, original thinking, and a positive attitude. Candidate shall follow in house engineering processes and will assist in the creation and improvement of company-wide process distribution.
Candidate may travel to work sites for situation evaluation and installation supervision.
Qualifications:
Mechanical engineering degree strongly preferred
Five years minimum experience with degree; In lieu of degree, 10+ years experience required
Heavy steel fabrication experience required, mining or aggregate experience preferred
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications
FEA experience preferred
Familiarity with AutoDesk Inventor a plus
Customer service experience preferred
Job details:
Travel will be required up to 25%
Job will entail interaction with customers, operations, vendors, and project teams
