Description: This role is responsible for:
? Determination of feasibility to machine various customer component types using Makino?s catalog of horizontal and/or vertical machining centers
? Generating costing estimates to perform quoted metal-cutting turnkey programs
? Detailed machining process layouts, leading to the production of equipment, metal-cutting turnkey, and /or integrated system sales proposal documents
? Participation in sales presentations with prospective customers in support of Makino?s sales staff
? Work with outside ancillary equipment providers to determine system contents / costing

Requirements: 1st Choice:
Qualifications and experience:
? U.S. Citizen or Green Card (required)
? BS in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience in metal-cutting
? 3+ years direct experience in metal-cutting environment (either as a ?seller? or a ?user?)
? Strong technical writing and presentation skills
? Demonstrated experience working with teams to meet pre-defined objectives and schedules
? Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or solid modeling software - prefer SolidWorks
? Demonstrated competence with MS office software
? Strong attention to detail in formulation of proposal documents and presentations
? Rational decision making and problem solving ability
? Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
