Description: is currently seeking a hands-on Mechanical Project Engineer to design, build and support current and new product offerings. This person will be charged with building of product specifications, design of machinery/controls, prototyping the machine(s), and industrializing the final design. This role requires a hands-on engineering approach working within a small team environment of engineers, build technicians, and suppliers.
Requirements: 1st Choice:
? BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university (Master?s in ME desired)
? 10-15 years of ME design experience including: structural, mechanical, hydraulic, controls and systems integration design
? Solid modeling design experience (Preference for Inventor), including demonstrable experience in the use of solid model integration to define part-to-assembly construction and billing
? Project defensible experience in mechanics of materials, machine dynamics, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and controls application
? Customer technical support experience is a plus
? Bias towards action with a strong inclination to problem solving through "options and alternatives" methodologies is a necessity
? Must be a US Person; Will not sponsor H1B at this time
2nd choice engineering degree from a non accredited engineering technology university would work as a contract engineer first to prove their hands on ability
THIS IS NOT A JOB OF A SUPERVISORY ENGINEER..MUST DEMONSTRATE HANDS ON TECHNICAL ABILITY FROM CONCEPT TO PROTOTYPE..MUST HAVE:part-to-assembly construction, experience in mechanics of materials, machine dynamics, hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and controls application, strong inclination to problem solving through "options and alternatives" methodologies is a necessity
