Description: Belcan is conducting a search for a Sr. Stress / MRB Liaison Engineers. The position reports into the Tech Lead for Analysis in support of our various customer programs. Our customer designs, develops and manufactures Aero Structures and Mechanical Systems for aircraft and jet engines.

Requirements and Responsibilities

Candidates must have a minimum of seven (7) years experience in airframe structural analysis of metallic and composite primary structures, particularly, the evaluation and disposition of discrepant/non-conforming aircraft hardware (MRB). Candidates must also have experience with finite element modeling and analysis, composite and metallic stress analysis, repair techniques, structural testing and writing of technical reports.

Candidates need to be proficient in NASTRAN/PATRAN, MathCAD a plus, and familiar with CATIA V5. Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (Masters preferred).
