Description: Sr Engineering Project Manager

The Engineering Project Manager will direct all aspects of project execution required by the project scope. Plans, organizes, and controls a definitive course of action towards successful project completion that includes such key areas as engineering design, procurement, construction, and facility start-up. Ensures the work is completed in the desired quality, on time and within budget resulting in customer satisfaction and repeat business. Solicits periodic customer feedback to support the CIP process.

Specific duties:

Develop project master schedules and budgets, ensuring that all customer requirements are incorporated. Track/measure project team against project objectives in progress and cost for all project phases.

Closely monitor project activities for conformity to contract scope requirements and establish a change order procedure for scope revisions. Monitor contractual requirements and recommend adjustments as appropriate to the client and/or company management.

Regularly monitor the systems for controlling project costs, schedule, and quality to see that they are working effectively in meeting project objectives.

Administer and enforce compliance with the terms of the contract, the project master plan, the project procedures, and management directives

Perform assigned duties in proposing new work and serve as Belcan?s technical Iiason during qualification efforts. Utilize Belcan resources, as appropriate.
Requirements:

Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical or Aero Engineering.

Minimum of 7 years engineering experience. Aircraft engine experience preferred.

Manufacturing experience: Knowledge of machine shop practices, tooling, and quality programs.

Minimum of 2 year?s experience leading an engineering project.

Experience with the following software programs: UG NX, MS Project, MS Office

Strong leadership qualities

PMP not required but is a plus

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
