Description: Senior Gas Turbine Performance Engineer

The Advanced Engineering and Technology Division (AETD) of Belcan is a global provider of highly technical engineering services to a wide variety of industries.

Overview:
We are currently seeking qualified engineers to support the aviation and marine and industrial gas turbine engine performance area.

Responsibilities:
Specific areas include, but are not limited too, cycle modeling, data analysis, power management, test monitoring (ground and flight test engines), test cell correlation and data reduction for steady-state, transient and operability stall testing.

Required:
B.S. in mechanical, aerospace or equivalent degree with 3 to 5 years direct experience with a gas turbine manufacturer in applied thermodynamics or aerodynamics. Experience using engine performance cycle modeling and design tools. Ability to analyze and interpret gas turbine engine performance data from cycle models, static/ground tests, flight tests and on-wing remote diagnostics systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired:
M.S. in mechanical, aerospace or equivalent with 5 to 7 years direct experience.
