Description: Belcan Tech Services is currently recruiting for a Sr. Pylon/ Nacelle Analyst position for a client in Baltimore, Md.

- Mininum 15 yrs experience performing structural analysis of nacelle or pylon products

- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering

- Perform structural Finite Element Analysis on Nacelle, Reverser, Pylon, Aerostructure components using NASTRAN/PATRAN.

- Analysis of metallic and carbon fiber composite thrust reverser structures

- Perform linear and nonlinear modeling; modeling of composite laminates and metallic or composite bondments

- Damage Tolerance and Fatigue Analysis

- Hand calculations of mechanically fastened joints and connections, shear strength of fasteners and shear-stripping, bending of beam sections and scaled fatigue analysis

- Support cost-saving projects through stress validation of proposed changes

- May include stress analysis evaluation and disposition of non-conforming hardware; support of Manufacturing Engineers and MRB Engineers on the shop floor providing analysis substantiation for repairs dispositions

- Additional sample hardware: bulkheads, beams, tracks, sliders, actuator fittings, cowls, doors, hinges, ground handling tools

- Reports writing � Analysis Reports, Flight Safety, Analysis Design Studies, inputs to certification

- Knowledge of FAR 25/FAR 33 structural requirements and substantiation is desired
