Description: The successful candidate will perform structural/mechanical dynamic analysis (which includes shaft critical speeds and unbalance response, engine model analysis, blade disc stress and environmental shock response, sine, random response); transient and steady state thermal analysis; elastic and inelastic stress analysis on rotating and static hardware; fracture mechanics analysis for critical
and sub-critical cracks; low cycle fatigue analysis (crack initiation); and high cycle fatigue analysis on gas turbine engines. Special Skills include: Working knowledge of ANSYS standards, Unigraphics
NX7.5, bearing and seals theory, and rotating systems. Structural/mechanical analysis. Working knowledge in Microsoft Office products.
