The Advanced Engineering & Technology Division (AETD) of Belcan is a global provider of highly technical engineering services to the Aerospace, Energy, and Transportation industries.

Belcan is looking for Test Rig Design Engineers. The Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and commission of new test rigs for gas turbine engines and components.

The Engineer will interpret customer functional specifications, create functional requirements and then perform design activities to support program goals. The Engineers will support Project Managers to ensure compliance with functional, budget and schedule requirements. The Engineers will be expected to take the technical lead in designing, specifying and procuring of project components and assemblies. The Test Rig Design Engineer will be required to interface with customers, suppliers and different disciplines to accomplish program requirements.

Skills Required:

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient with Unigraphics/NX
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Proficient with Project Management tools
- Proficient with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance

Experience Required:

- 5+ years of design engineering experience and capability to work with multi-disciplined teams of designers and engineers.

Experience Preferred:

- Rig and/or Component design and testing experience
- Experience in hardware/manufacturing coordination
- Rotating equipment design experience
