2nd shift; 3 PM to 11:15 PM, Monday through Friday, OT possible on Saturday and Sunday
Duties & Responsibilities: Set up & operate all conventional tool room machinery to manufacture and repair gages, tooling and cathodes. Set up & operate CNC mills, lathes and EDMs. Tig welds and brazes new or damaged cathodes and tooling for repair and/or rebuild. Performs grinding and sharpening of tools. Performs preventative and routine maintenance to maintain machine performance. Performs basic programming and editing of CNC programs. Assists in training new employees. Must be able to read blueprints.

Sets-up and operates all conventional tool room and CNC mills, lathes, or EDM to manufacture and repair gages, tooling, and cathodes.
1. Sets-up and operates all conventional tool room machinery to manufacture and repair gages, tooling, and cathodes.

2. Sets-up and operates CNC mills, lathes, or EDM to manufacture and repair gages, tooling, and cathodes.

3. Precisely handworks cathodes and performs coating operations on cathodes and tools.

4. Tig welds and brazes new or damaged cathodes and tooling for repair and/or rebuild.

5. Performs precision grinding and sharpening of tools for standard job applications.

6. Completes routers properly with inspection information for each part run, if applicable, and uses logbooks to communicate between shifts.

7. Performs preventive and routine maintenance to maintain machine performance.

8. Performs daily housekeeping tasks to provide a safe, clean, and orderly workplace.

9. Performs basic programming and editing of CNC programs.

10. Assembles new and existing tools, gages, and cathodes to ensure proper function.

11. Assists in training new employees.

12. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements: 1st choice:
Requires high school, general education degree (GED), or vocational school graduate with courses
in mechanical drawing, shop mathematics, and machining practices or equivalent training and
experience. Three years or more prior machining experience and experience with precision
measuring equipment and reading plots and/or blueprints. Ability to distinguish between different
types of metals. Close attention and care required to prevent damage to parts and machine tools.
Sets-up and operates all conventional tool room and CNC mills, lathes, or EDM to manufacture and repair gages, tooling, and cathodes.

Demonstrated ability to obtain forklift operator�s license, if applicable, and drive a forklift safely.
