The Advanced Engineering and Technology Division (AETD) of Belcan is a global provider of highly technical engineering services to a wide variety of industries. Primary Duties: The Value Process/Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for determining the ?Should-Cost? of products designed by Belcan Engineering and provide advice as to the affordability and producibility of customer-designed and manufactured products. The candidate must possess hands-on experience in planning, organizing and controlling manufacturing processes and be able to analyze the validity of supplier?s manufacturing processes relative to schedule and cost. The Engineer will participate across multifunctional teams and provide advice and counsel on production methods utilized in the manufacture of gas turbine components. Requirements: Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years technical support experience in manufacturing processes - Knowledge and ability to read Engineering Drawings and interpret Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing - Solid understanding of ASME Y14.5M-1994 Dimensioning and Tolerancing - Ability to balance workloads between various projects - Responsible for cultivating and creating manufacturing documentation - Retain current information on materials and processes that emerge - Prior leadership or management experience - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Must be proficient in MS Office - Ability to interface with customer and support recommendations Qualifications Desired: - Bachelor?s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline - Green Belt certification or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification - Knowledge and ability to use GD&T and ANSI/ASME Y14.5 - Knowledge and ability to use SPC, pressure gauges and monitoring devices - Ability to achieve proficiency in all aspects of processing technology and must be able to instruct operators - Utilization of ASME Y14.5 - 2009 Dimensioning and Tolerancing - Knowledge of Gas Turbine Engine Hardware Location: Cincinnati , OH Minimum Experience (yrs): Required Education: Not Specified Benefits: Return to search results Email this job to a friend If you have previously registered with us, pleaseLog into apply for this position. *Logged in members may also add jobs to their job cart Apply on Company Website |
