Benefitfocus is seeking a Contract Billing Accountant. This will start as a temp position that could lead into permanent.
Responsibilities Include:

Review and understand software service contracts billing requirements and terms
*
Load contract data into billing system
*
Coordinate billing arrangements and requirements with new customers
*
Resolve customer billing questions
*
Update billing system for contract amendments and customer attributes
*
Compare and analyze month to month billing changes
*
Contribute to billing system automation and enhancements

Required Experience:

*
College or technical college degree in business, accounting or finance
*
Minimum of 2 years related experience
*
Familiarity with contract and billing application concepts
*
Experience and ability to work as a team
*
Strong communications skills both verbal and written and the ability to interact with senior management and individuals with varying degrees of financial knowledge.
*
Proficient with accounting and Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
*
The successful candidate will have an outgoing personality, ability to work in a fast-growing environment with ability to adapt to changes, strong analytical and problem solving capabilities, and good organizational skills.
