The Manager of Inside Software Sales will work hand-in-hand with a team of Marketing Representatives to develop, manage, execute and analyze marketing programs to drive lead generation for our B2B sales team. The Manager is responsible for motivating the team to ensure that goals and quotas are achieved. This role will require a dynamic individual with high energy, Marketing Outreach management experience and great familiarity with marketing automation, email marketing, CRM, lead scoring and experience in all facets of lead generation and nurturing. Motivate team and achieve goals and quotas: • Proactively identify and develop growth opportunities in our market • Create and promote strategies for lead generation via email and phone campaigns, webinars and tradeshows • Work with team to actively promote our value proposition in the market • Provide industry and market expertise • Analyze and manage a database of prospective customers for marketing campaigns The Manager of Inside Software Sales must be able to: • Conduct research to identify opportunities, trends and issues vital to developing lead generation strategies • Track and analyze campaign and revenue results • Communicate with the sales team on marketing campaigns • Multi-task effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, rapidly changing software company • Be resourceful and identify the most effective ways to achieve end state goals • Operate independently with minimal day-to-day guidance • Become proficient managing, tracking and reporting on follow up activity in CRM Required Experience: • Strong working knowledge of CRM’s (as it pertains to driving leads to the sales team) and managing a database of prospective customers • A desire to continuously learn more about new inbound marketing technologies and strategies • A keen ability to analyze results to determine what’s working and what isn’t and to adapt • 4-year degree required, MBA preferred • Minimum 3 years experience in management role in Marketing Outreach or Sales • Successful track record leading and developing a Marketing Outreach team • Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision maker contacts • Excellent interpersonal skills • Strong detail orientation and organizational skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint • Experience in the healthcare or employee benefits industries (preferred) About Benefitfocus: Benefitfocusis the largest benefits technology provider in the country.
