DescriptionOpening for someone with very strong administrative skills. This is a very big job, but reasonably manageable for the right person. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision after an accelerated intensive training.
This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a very busy small progressive company. This position requires someone who enjoys variety, challenge, and is great for someone who is creative in the face of the never ending list of tasks. The position is well suited for someone who is assertive, action oriented, very friendly, tolerant, and is able to prioritize and keep level headed in an action packed environment. A perfectionist personality would do well in this role. We are seeking someone who can help us streamline processes and be on top of the expected, and prepared to respond when the unexpected happens. The ability to interact with faculty, staff and students in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, customer service skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. Duration: Full-time or Part-Time Location: Denver The Office Assistant will: Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as instructors, alumni and prospective students, to coordinate a variety of meetings Answer phones and direct all incoming calls to appropriate party promptly and efficiently communicate and handle incoming and outgoing electronic communications on behalf of the Director Assist Director with preparation of presentation materials. Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents; prepare background documents and outgoing mail as necessary. Record all meeting notes. Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner. Shop for equipment Support Recruitment efforts (staff and student) Keep employee and student records Support the office of the Registrar Current Student Support Support the following departments: o Finance o Marketing o Event o HR o Alumni o Office of the Academic Dean Support Director's personal and professional needs. Ability to take on more tasks as processes are streamlined and the company matures. Standard hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch, Monday through Fridays. Apply on Company Website |
