PURPOSE

Facilities Engineering Supervisor for the Haynesville/Fayettelville Production Unit.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Facilities Engineering Supervisor is accountable for maintaining safe and efficient process, mechanical, and structural systems for hydrocarbon production as well as maintaining the overall integrity of the production systems in the Haynesville/Fayetteville Production Unit. This role is accountable for identifying and resolving issues related to process, mechanical, and structural systems; proposing and implementing enhancements to those systems for the purpose of optimizing production; and identifying and implementing changes to those systems resulting from changes in operating conditions or functionality. The Facilities Engineering Supervisor is also accountable for ensuring the thorough and timely completion of all integrity assurance tasks related to process, mechanical, and structural systems.

The Facilities Engineering Supervisor is accountable for embedding the HSEC management system and its derivative processes (e.g., Management of Change, System Custodian) within the Facilities Engineering team. This includes actively ensuring appropriate processes are in place and rigorously practiced, and that HSEC concerns are properly addressed in all activities undertaken by the team (e.g., operations surveillance, facility modification design, etc.). The Facilities Engineering Supervisor must also demonstrate personal HSEC leadership via, as a minimum, site audits and active participation in HSE-related processes and initiatives.

The Facilities Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading his/her team in a manner consistent with the BHPB Leadership Model. This includes leading by example with respect to accountability, action orientation, collaboration and credibility as well as the other attributes described in the leadership model.

The Facilities Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the career development of his/her direct reports. This includes the development of technical depth and breadth, as well as the development of competencies consistent with the BHP technical ladder and attributes consistent with the BHPB Leadership Model.

KEY DELIVERABLES

The Facilities Engineering Supervisor's key deliverables include the following:

Safe and efficient day-to-day operability of Haynesville / Fayetteville PU production facilities, specifically as measured against local KPIs

An appropriately-sized and technically excellent Facilities Engineering team

Clearly defined and communicated work plans for the Facilities Engineering team

Accurate, high-quality technical analysis and documentation from the Facilities Engineering team

Auditable evidence that HSEC and integrity management processes are rigorously and well-practiced

The development of direct reports' technical skills, leadership attributes, and personal competencies

Technical guidance and judgement both to the Surface Engineering Manager and the Haynesville / Fayetteville PU Surface Engineering discipline engineers

Management of facilities engineering support contractors as required

As required, provide appropriate input to brownfield development teams to ensure fit for purpose and operable project designs
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the appropriate number and caliber of technical resources are on the Facilities Engineering team and that the resources are properly allocated

Ensure the quality of the technical work done by the Facilities Engineering team

Ensure that the activities of the Facilities Engineering team are planned and monitored; and aligned with the Systems Engineering team and the Operations team in order to safely create maximum value for the asset

Ensure that processes derived from the HSE Management System are understood, implemented, and rigorously practiced in the Facilities Engineering team.

Prioritize the activities of direct reports as required

Perform all supervisory and administrative requirements, including performance appraisals, expense and leave approvals, etc.

Mentor direct reports as required

Develop the technical depth and breadth of individuals in the Facilities Engineering team, through classroom or, preferably, on-the-job training

Develop competencies in direct reports consistent with the technical ladder and attributes consistent with the BHPB Leadership model.

Provide engineering guidance and professional judgment in support of operations, maintenance and reliability projects

Maintain a working knowledge of relevant international technical standards, codes and recommended practices, interpretations and analogues to assist in the operation and development of Haynesville / Fayetteville PU assets.

Participate as a rotating member of the Haynesville / Fayetteville PU Incident Management Team (IMT)

Work with other Haynesville / Fayetteville PU leadership to produce budgets, shutdown plans, etc.

Work with other Haynesville / Fayetteville PU leadership to assess and communicate performance locally and to senior management.

Develop and maintain internal and external local and global networks and working relationships with key peers and colleagues for the purposes of information gathering and sharing

Travel Requirements: Louisiana and Arkansas as required (potential for short notice pending operational requirements)

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

The role requires a thorough and broad knowledge of process and mechanical systems associated with upstream and midstream facilities. Knowledge of integrity is also required. A proven ability to apply the attributes defined in the BHPB Leadership Model is essential, as well as an ability to identify, plan, and monitor work activities. The Facilities Engineering Supervisor will have a broad technical knowledge in the following areas as a minimum:

Process Engineering evaluation methods and techniques as they relate to upstream hydrocarbon processing

Static Equipment (Vessels, Tanks, Piping, etc.)

Rotating Equipment (Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, etc.)

Marine/Structural systems

General integrity knowledge

In addition, the Facilities Engineering Supervisor will have a general understanding of:

Hydraulic Systems

Safety Systems (e.g., fire protection systems)

Control Systems

Working knowledge of production operations including gas/liquid separation and compression systems.

Working knowledge of onshore drilling and completion operations.

Mandatory

Bachelor degree in relevant engineering discipline

Minimum 15 years of related engineering experience in the upstream petroleum industry

Demonstrated knowledge of and personal application of HSEC Management System

Demonstrated ability to identify, plan, and monitor work activities

Demonstrated ability in interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated expertise in problem solving skills
