PURPOSE This position will provide assistance with field development planning from a facilities infrastructure view point, engineering, design and construction support associated with Well Sites and Salt Water Disposal facilities as well as brownfield infrastructure expansions and modifications, and liaison with the Development Division during engineering, design and construction of new Midstream pipelines and facilities, in both the Pecos and S. Midland areas. This position will have responsibility for ensuring infrastructure requirements meet with filed development plans, facilities design and construction requirements in accordance with engineering and safety in design standards, and brownfield expansions and modifications are delivered safely and meet all functional, cost and schedule targets. ACCOUNTABILITIES Field Development Planning Responsible for working with multi-functional group to identify infrastructure concepts, assist with assessment and concept selection, and define basis of design requirements. Well Sites Responsible for establishing standard designs for Well Site facilities and for ensuring minimum required engineering documentation is developed. Manage external contractor support organization through front-end and detailed engineering. Provide engineering support for procurement, fabrication and construction and commissioning and start-up. Additional responsibilities include brownfield modifications for future artificial lift equipment, addition of vapour recovery compression, etc. Salt Water Disposal Responsible for establishing standard designs for Salt Water Disposal facilities and for ensuring minimum required engineering documentation is developed. Manage external contractor support organization through front-end and detailed engineering. Provide engineering support for procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning and start-up. Additional responsibilities include brownfield modifications for adding Salt Water gathering systems. Midstream Pipelines Responsible for basis of design input to the Development Division for new Midstream Pipelines and continual addition of new lateral pipeline tie-ins from Well Sites. Serve as primary liaison with the Development Division from concept development through final construction. Midstream Gas Plants and Compressor Stations Responsible for basis of design input to the Development Division for new Midstream Gas Plants and Compressor Stations. Serve as primary liaison with the Development Division from concept development through to commissioning and start-up. Participate in key design reviews and value improving practices. Midstream Expansions and Modifications Responsible for evaluating concepts and establishing basis of design for facility expansion and modifications and for ensuring minimum required engineering documentation is developed. Manage external contractor support organization through front-end and detailed engineering. Serve as interface within the Production Unit for Management of Change for the project. Provide engineering support for procurement, fabrication and construction and commissioning and start-up. Projects include gas plant and compressor station expansions. Contractor Management Responsible for preparing scopes of work, evaluation and selection of contractors, and contractor management for successful delivery. Leadership Demonstrate pro-active leadership in management and execution. Engage effectively with office-based technical staff, field-based operations personnel and external contractors and suppliers. Continuously demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communications and teaming skills. HSEC Accountable for modeling HSEC leadership in all aspects of the role. This includes actively ensuring HSEC concerns are properly addressed in all phases of development and execution from design through to commissioning and start-up. In addition, it includes demonstration of HSEC leadership from a personal perspective (e.g., conducting regular site audits, active participation in HSE-related discussions/initiatives, etc.).
