Further, we work to cultivate relationships with key distributors of our investment products, such as broker-dealers, banks, registered investment advisers, financial planners, insurance companies and building societies. The US Retail Due Diligence Group is responsible for BlackRock portfolio placements on retail sponsor intermediated platforms. Job Description: The responsibilities of an Associate in the US Retail Due Diligence Group include: Coordinate all portfolio information and data to facilitate the due diligence process. Assist in planning and execution of client on site due diligence meetings Participate in team and client meetings by sharing insights from portfolio management teams Stay abreast of timely investment topics Responsible for communication of all portfolio information such as people, process, and performance to key client contacts and members of due diligence team Interface with portfolio managers, retail sales, marketing, legal and compliance for accuracy and completeness of client requests. Manage existing client schedule of monthly, quarterly and annual requests. REQUIRED SKILLS Resourceful team player and ability to work independently Exceptional work ethic 2 years previous experience working within the investment industry Experience with equity and fixed income investment products preferred S trong project management skills Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines Excellent oral and written communication skills Attention to detail BlackRock is proud to be an E-Verify & Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer—M/F/D/V.
