We are seeking a high energy, self-motivated Investment Management Consultant (IMC) to build and grow relationships with professional financial advisors within the US Wealth Advisory Channel. This position reports to the USWA Division Manager and will be based in the Great Lakes territory (MN, WI, SD, ND). The primary target audience will be Wirehouse, Regional, and Independent financial advisors. Expectations will be to effectively manage the territory in order to meet and exceed team sales, activity, and market share goals. Primary Responsibilities: Call on a prioritized subset of professional financial advisors in National, Regional, and Independent advisory firms, in order to support and grow their business through the use of Blackrock iShares in a defined region Deliver sales presentations, seminars, and consulting meetings with professional financial advisors, home office personnel, and appropriate centers of influence for National, Regional, and Independent advisory firms. Identify implementation opportunities and marketing/collateral needs, that will help drive adoption and usage of Blackrock iShares Report weekly activities, accomplishments, and opportunities Be a contributing member of a team that thrives on partnership, innovation, and execution Work closely with National Accounts Team to communicate client voice from the field Manage budget to maximize time and resources Coordinate and manage all conference activity and speaking engagements within the region Work with Investment Management Associate (IMA) to maximize territory sales coverage. Identify and coordinate the analytic support of Blackrock iShares implementation opportunities Work closely with partners in Blackrock Active to identify and grow Blackrock market share Qualifications: Undergraduate degree required NASD Series 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required CIMA or CFA certification preferred 7 years direct outside intermediary sales and territory management experience with a mutual fund, separate account, or hedge fund distributor Proven understanding and implementation of competitive analytics and analysis Ability to develop relationships with professional financial advisors and deliver ideas and information that will generate sales and assets Ability to travel extensively on a consistent basis Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Exceptional sales presentation skills High energy, motivated and coachable individual, commitment to excellence Ability to work in a team environment is critical Reside in the territory Clean compliance track record BlackRock is proud to be an E-Verify & Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer—M/F/D/V.Job: Sales/Relationship ManagementOrganization: Client-Retail %26 iShares-Global iShares Apply on Company Website |
