The applicant will be responsible for developing and supporting the continued growth of internal and external applications.
The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, self-starter, action oriented person that "makes-it-happen."
Prefer Perl but are open to programmers with strong background in Ruby, Python or PHP . Experience with database programming in a Linux, Apache, MySQL environment preferred. Strong Open Source background preferred. Programmers with experience in other 3rd generation languages such as C/C or Java interested learning new languages/tools will also be considered.Skills:

Ability to create effective, efficient program code based upon detailed specifications, with periodic support and direction by more senior development staff.

Object-oriented development and tiered network application experience required. Experience with version control (CVS, Perforce), SQL, BerkeleyDB, REST and SOAP a plus. E-commerce experience a plus. Javascript, CSS, and HTML 5 experience a plus
Effective verbal and written communications.
Understanding of and compliance with IT development process (SDLC).
Demonstrated ability to define and conduct unit testing of programs written or modified.
Developing analytical and solution design abilities.

Education:

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with course work in information systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
