Description

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill a software developer position in Akron, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to analyze, design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications. This position requires excellent technical and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

- 2 to 8 years of experience developing Web and Windows Forms applications using Microsoft Visual Studio (C# preferred, VB.Net is acceptable)

- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including database design, stored procedures, SSIS, SSRS

- Experience developing web services

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- MVC, Razor, jQuery, Ajax, Team Foundation Server, IBM iSeries, IBM DB/2, CA Plex (CASE tool) experience is a plus.
