Job Description: The Territory Account Managers (TAM) responsibility will be to drive the overall sales revenue in a defined territory (geography or list of accounts), while increasing Brocade’s strategic value for specific products and solutions. The ideal profile for this candidate has 8 to 12 years of experience selling complex networking infrastructure to medium and large enterprises. This individual should have a strong history of consistent sales success in developing and maintaining large territories and meeting and exceeding their sales plans/quota. Candidates must have a strong background in developing new sales opportunities within a green field territory and fostering longer term account and territory success with existing customers. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record working closely with partners to develop a Brocade differentiated position. Acting as a Brocade "Diplomat" will be key in promoting and articulately value among End Users, Business Partners and set the precedence as the leader in the Networking market today. The TAM opportunity is ideal for those with exceptional influencing skills, ability to communicate on all levels and exude a positive attitude and high energy to achieve maximum results. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Build and execute innovative and comprehensive sales initiatives within a stated geography or list of predefined named accounts. Build and maintain high level executive relationships with End User accounts and to increase Brocade presence, vision, strategy and architecture. Proven track record of developing successful technical and business relationships with key customer organizations and decision makers focused on network strategy, architecture, and production Become the ‘Point Person’ within assigned accounts and territory to drive revenue across Brocade product segments with Brocade resources available (i.e., SEs, ISRs, and Corporate teams). Other tasks will include territory plan development, weekly forecasting, and quarterly sales review with the sales management team to track progress toward territory plan, and to review territory/customer needs, challenges, and critical success factors. Qualifications/Job Responsibilities: Qualifications/Job Responsibilities: · Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent work experience · 8 – 12 years Outside/End User sales experience and proven sales track record in a competitive environment · Experience in working with and selling complex solutions through regional and national value added resellers · Experience selling technical networking solutions, such as SAN/LAN/WAN, switching and routing solutions with focus on Edge/Aggregation, Core, and Campus and Data Center solutions · Experience in using Salesforce.com and sales effectiveness and productivity tools · Must have excellent people skills/influencing ability and effective in sustaining business relationships · Outstanding writing and presentation skills · Technical industry certifications a plus · Overnight travel may be required · Must have the ability to work autonomously · Ideal candidates are highly self-motivated and possess a track record of being a strong team player Physical requirements · Frequent use of mouse and keyboard · Frequent phone usage · Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds Brocade is an equal opportunity employer.
