Job Description: • Strong background in C language data structures and algorithm design;• Good knowledge of multi-threading, synchronization and memory management in Linux • Strongly preferred is the candidate has knowledge ofa. Fibre channel protocol (like name server requests)b. Fibre Channel Asic driver development workc. FC link level activities and state m/cd. Hands on experience on FC traffic generator and protocol test tools like finisar, Santester, Spirent• Proficient in software development tools, VI, Clearcase• General BS/MS in EE/CS with 5 plus of related industry experience developing in ‘C’; Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and programming and trouble shooting skills required; good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills required; must be self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously in large teams. Job Responsibility1. The person will work in the FC Asic driver dev group, and would own few blocks in the Asic.2. Execute new features by co-ordinating with team members across geographical locations.3. Take care of the Asic and blade bring up when next generation asic or blade comes up.4. Support the releases by addressing defects, and also field issues.
