Job Description:

As a member of Brocade Core Software Development organization, the successful candidate will work on Infrastructure software design and implementation for leading edge high-performance data networking products
Desired Skills & Experience:
The candidate must have prior experience of at least 8-10 years in similar software development for high end networking solutions based on Ethernet technologies. The candidate must have MS degree in electrical engineering or in computer science. Networking protocol software development" for a high end networking system in the area of IP services, Layer 2 (STP, MSTP, LACP, LLDP) and Layer 3 routing (OSPF, ISIS, Multicast protocols) and switching protocols for ethernet and fiber channel based networks. Candidate must have hands-on experience in programming using C/C++ in Linux software environments for high end CPUs and Network Processors with very high standards for quality and documentation. General profile: Candidate must possess good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment. Good problem solving skills and effective communication skills. Ability to work multiple tasks simultaneously, and independently. Must be an energetic, creative, positive and results oriented individual.
Qualifications/Job Responsibilities: Education and Experience
BS/MS in EE/CS with “C/C++” development and Linux or Linux-like OS experience;Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming and trouble shooting skills required;Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills required;
Must be self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously in large teams.
