This position provides overall administrative and technical direction for a transmission construction project. Responsible for overseeing total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, A/E representatives, union officials, subcontractors, security, etc. This position plans, coordinates and/or supervises field activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s); authorizes/approves all project purchase requisitions, change requests, etc; ensures all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to, and may need to interpret policies as required; maintains official project log and documentation files. Other duties include assisting with implementation/interpretation of safety programs; providing direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required. Perform additional duties as assigned.
