This position requires effective time-management, written communications skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Successful candidate will be articulate with professional presence, with solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills. Learn and understand project and BMcD standards and procedures. Continuously evaluates methods used to accomplish the activities that have been assigned.

Incumbent will be responsible for the production of design calculations, technical reports, permitting, and engineering plans and specifications for design of roadway drainage facilities, storm drains/sewers, and detention facilities. Provide strong and focused support for transportation projects in area of hydrology and hydraulics for roadway drainage and major and minor crossing structures. Oversee analysis and design of urban storm drainage systems (hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater quality). Review hydrologic and hydraulic analyses with computer aided software and proprietary models. Coordinate and develop Location Drainage Studies, prepare construction drainage plans and review shop drawings. Must be able to work effectively in team situations and establish strong relationships with other teams where overlap of client project work exists.
