Senior Electrical Engineer - Pipeline Terminals Job Listing at Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City, MO

We are seeking lead electrical and instrumentation engineers with experience in fuels, industrial or process industries to lead and execute electrical designs on projects ranging from small studies to large, design-build projects.

This position requires a self-starter with strong, proactive work ethic. You will be responsible for executing the overall E&I design process and preparation of contract drawings and specifications while working with multidisciplinary project teams for major hydrocarbon pipeline and terminals clients. Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members. In the course of these project assignments, you will meet and build relationships with clients or outside personnel in the office and in field settings. Candidate should be capable of assisting clients with planning and programming E&I aspects of projects. Must also have the ability to determine project scope, schedule, and budget.

Applicable experience includes, but is not limited to:

· Pipeline booster stations, product storage facilities

· Truck and marine loading and offloading

· Medium and low-voltage motor starters and control centers

· NFPA and API hazardous area classification

· Instrumentation, ISA and PIP P&ID

· Experience in P&ID development and review

· PLC controls and safety control systems

· Wiring, raceway, grounding layout and design
