Positions available for lead mechanical engineers with 8 to 15 years of experience in commercial airport fueling systems.

Burns & McDonnell is considered the leading consultant in the commercial aircraft fueling industry. We are engaged in high visibility projects both large and small at major airports worldwide. Additionally, the fueling department executes projects for major oil companies and other industrial clients, including pipeline terminals and truck loading facilities.

Successful candidate would be experienced in the design and construction of commercial aircraft fuel systems.

· Airport fuel receipt, storage and distribution facilities

o Jet fuel hydrant distribution systems

o Pipeline and transport truck fuel receipt systems

o Jet fuel storage tanks

o Distribution pumping systems –hydrants and refueler truck loading

o Oil water separation systems

o Single and double-wall fuel piping

Familiarity with relevant industry standards including ATA 103, API 610, 650, 653, ASME B31.3 and B31.4, NFPA 30 and NFPA 11

· Piping system hydraulic modeling

· Piping system stress analysis
