The Wildlife Biologist / Botanist will be responsible on project sites,toefficiently and accurately assess the presence ofcommon and special status California biological communities, and the special status plants and animals supported by project communities and vegetation.For federal and state listed species, able todetermine and recommend whichfocused protocol surveys would berequired tocomplete appropriate CEQA-, NEPA-, FESA-, and CESA-compliant Biologist Technical Reports and Biological Assessments. Experienced in research and preparing standard environmentalsectionsfor CEQA, CESA, NEPA, FESA, or other similar policies. Able to analyze impacts on biological resources and provide practical, do-ablemitigation's that address these impacts during project construction. Coordinate work with permitting specialists.Support preparation of proposals. Progressive project responsibilities. Coordinate staff on projects in California.
