Cablevision Division Cablevision Media Sales Department Name IT & Sales Operations Job Location NY / Bethpage Requisition ID 20042BR Position Type Full Time Description The Business Analyst documents business requirements, system integration and operational readiness of both existing and emerging solutions and their associated operational support systems. Collaborates with both internal and external groups to determine strategic plans and product and business requirements including integration, testing, training, and product life-cycle management. Works with Advertising & Operations to document strategy and select key areas for improvement, identifies gaps or manual workarounds in internal processes. Works with Manager of Strategy & Development to identify vendors, products, processes and platforms needed to meet those needs. Evaluates potential program technical solutions with Manager of Strategy & Development, project sponsor and project team. Manages Hardware and application upgrades for all business applications assigned. Leads smoke and user acceptance testing (UAT). Develops and maintains relationships with internal CMS business units with a focus on providing optimum levels of operational efficiency to assist the business in meeting their strategic goals. Assists Manager of Strategy & Development to coordinate activities between CMS and counterparts at Cablevision (Engineering & technology, Product Marketing, etc.) Qualifications · 5+ years experience in a business analyst or systems analyst role · 5+ years experience in an operational process/support role in areas such as CRM, media-based campaign management, stewardship systems (order entry, traffic, billing, reporting), data warehouse, business and intelligence methodologies, Salesforce.com development and customization. · Experience writing reports in Cognos or Crystal Reports · Ability to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize departmental workload based on direction from senior manager and/or customer. · Proved customer service skills, including the ability to focus on building customer relationships · Strong organizational and group coordination skills. · Analytical and problem solving skills, proven track record of successful executive-level communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to energize the organization to maintain continuous improvement programs and explore creative ideas on significant improving performance · Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, or equivalent experience Area of Interest Sales - Ad Business Intelligence Information Technology & Technical Support Telecommunications Apply on Company Website |
