Description The Senior Programmer Analyst designs, develops, leads and implements software, hardware, and applications specific to call center technology across Customer Service, Sales, Billing and Collections, Field Operations, Product and Marketing business units. The ability to successfully implement a solution based on a defined problem or strategic vision to increase revenue and/or improve operational efficiencies is required.

More specifically, the Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible to design, lead, implement, test and deploy projects to fulfill the short and long term technology strategies for the Call Center Information Systems department under general supervision. The Senior Programmer Analyst is required to fully understand the standard SDLC process and all projects must be delivered in accordance with Cablevision standards. Upon completion of the project, the Senior Programmer Analyst must provide the necessary documentation and support to turn over the project to the CCIS support team.
Qualifications Key Experiences/Achievements:
a) 7+ years experience of systems analysis and programming in Java
b) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is preferred.
c) Programming language and operating system expertise consisting of, but not limited to the following; Java, EJB, Web Services, SOAP, EJB, JSF, Weblogic, XML, VXML, Hibernate, JavaScript, Unix/Linux, Unix Shell Scripting, Windows, .NET and ASP.
d) Knowledge of, or ability to learn Automatic Call Distributor (ACD), Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Speech Systems, Predictive Dialer, SIP, and VoIP.
e) Knowledge of, or ability to learn to develop voice and data applications integrating ACD/IVR with CRM and back-office application systems,.
f) Experience in application development utilizing a relational database such as Oracle.
g) Experience working within a formal methodology for software development. This includes all stages of design, development, and implementation of custom applications as well as the deployment of packaged solutions.
h) Experience in systems design on complex environments.
i) Experience developing and deploying applications in a multi-tier environment.
j) Full understanding of project management processes and tasks.

b) Experience in the introduction of new technologies and standards into a mature IS or business environment
c) Ability to effectively adapt to and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs
