The Opportunity The Campaign for Americas Future (CAF) and the Institute for Americas Future (IAF) seek an Administrative Intern to provide key support to the organization. This internship will expose you to the excitement of progressive politics, policy, organizations and careers. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to learn, grow, develop professionally and position themselves to pursue a fulfilling career in the progressive movement. This Staff Assistant supports the Administration Department and reports to the Office Manager. What Youll Do Internship could focus on any or all of the following areas: oAssist the Chief Operating Officer with human resources, benefits management, contracts and legal issues. oSupport the Chief Financial Officer with accounting and financial responsibilities. oCoordinate with the Office Manager on internal IT, facilities, meeting space and office management. oWork with the Executive Manager on CAF/IAF Board projects and activities. oHelp with data entry, correspondence, mailings, research and reports. oAssist with front desk/receptionist responsibilities. oOther duties as assigned consistent with the organizations mission and goals. What Youll Have oExcellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. oStrong problem solving skills and attention to detail. oIntellectual curiosity, sense of humor, enthusiasm and motivation. oMust be organized and neat, punctual, courteous, hard-working, dependable and honest. oProfessional phone manner, front desk appearance and attitude.
