* Reconcile the fixed asset subsidiary ledger with the General Ledger for assigned accounts
* Perform queries of financial information pertaining to fixed assets
* Assist with tracking and reporting expenditures by Major Expenditure Approval (MEA)
* Prepare capital spending versus budget variance schedules and research variances
* Research and provide explanations for capital projects not complete and past the anticipated in service date
* Prepare journal entries related to monthly fixed asset activity
* Support the Tax department with regulatory reporting as required
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts
* Assist with the quarterly depreciation expense accrual
* Assist with the yearly depreciation expense systematic true-up

Required Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
* 2+ years of experience in an administrative support function
* Experience working with Infor Financial Management system or ERP fixed asset system a plus
* Retail industry experience and/or international experience a plus
* Detail oriented to ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of records
* Strong analytical capabilities; able to analyze large volumes of data
* General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial modeling Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
