The primary function of the position is: to analyze, design, develop, document, test and implement functional and sound applications in accordance with the Company’s needs. This position will focus on supportin, maintaining and enhancing vendor supplied packaged software (Specifically JDA Enterprise Planning) and interfaces to other third party systems. In addition to supporting clients, this position will function in a matrix environment and manage the activities of third party software vendors.
* Meet with internal customers to define business, requirements. Identify solutions to meet business requirements
* Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging the applications
* Proactively seek ways to enhance the Retail Division’s performance through enhanced information, system processes and business processes
* Monitor / manage systems supported to ensure peak system performance and daily SLA’s are met
* Prepare and deliver solutions, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in retail systems across the organization
* Manage project activities, ensuring that timelines and budgets are achieved
Required Experience:

* Bachelors of Science degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or management information systems is preferred
* 5-7 year experience with the following:
* Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products provided via third party solution providers. Experience with JDA Enterprise Planning is a plus
* Demonstrated project management skills. The ability to create project plans and manage project activity to the defined plan
* SQL Server database query writing for analysis use preferred
* Experience in the Retail business a plus
* Ability to provide on-call for Retail systems as part of the IT on-call rotation and occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines
* Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Keen attention to detail
* Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment to meet customer requirements
* Strong customer service orientation
